Baby Ava

This little sweet heart was only 6 days old when we met. Ava whose name means "life pledged to God" was so calm and delightful to photograph. When I arrived new parents Matt + Melissa had comfortable tunes playing, the heat turned up, flowers and little bits left out from gifts they had recently received, snacks ready to role for a mid photo session cuddle break. Everything was so tick-ety that you would never believe that baby Ava arrived on Melissa first day of Mat leave a whole week earlier than she was expected!  What.A.Team!!

Melissa + Matt are a couple filled with light, and their home and spirit and way they love their little baby reflects that beautifully.

It was my joy to share a morning with you in your bright and happy Maple Bay home. I left that day feeling a strong sense of serenity and bliss. Melissa, you make this mom thing look easy, and I admire your spirit and the love that shines through you.
